What people ask most
Do I need to create an account?
No. PLOS works fully without an account. We only ask for one if you want to sync, back up or use Premium.
What data leaves my phone?
By default, none. With the cloud on, document, bill, subscription and reminder data is sent, along with your document files. OCR text, notifications and the Vault are never sent.
Does PLOS read all my notifications?
No. The feature is optional and only reads the apps you choose. It ignores verification codes, deletes the text after 24 hours, and you can pause or turn it off anytime.
How do I delete my data?
From the app you can export your data as a ZIP, delete documents, delete local or cloud data, and delete your account.
